A little trip to the surroundings of the medieval town of Škofja Loka. We visited the church of Sv.Volbenk, hence the name of the cache as well. It is situated just above the valley, very nice.

The trackable visited a remote Slovenian high-plateau called Babno Polje (cache: Cerkev svetega Nikolaja), which is famous for lowest temperatures measured in a Slovenian settlement. :) It was my first visit there and we were, funnily, immediately seized by the local tourist guide who eagerly explained us all about Babno polje. We really enjoyed the visit.

Retrieved this nice geokrety from "All you need is LOVE!", GC6HCKE, a cache high up on the left bank of river Sava, close to Žirovnica. Slovenia.
