Avec Dongdong.
First of a short balade, from the small parking close to the "GOLDEN" cache, to the "Vue sur baie", cache. Potentially 8 caches, signed by Marjil83 and Ericbluesrock.
Nice weather for late October, no wind, beautiful panoramas.

GOLDEN: Easy find.

LE ROCHER DE LITTLE ROCK: DNF! We have search for at least 15 minutes, not been able to locate the spoiler pictures, and not found the cache... Our only fail on the series...

CACHE SECRETE DE NUMA (2eme vie): what a nice surprise ! It took us some time to find the first step toward the solution, but then it was great. Congratulations to Marjil for the creation, even if we did not solve it the way it was supposed to be solved, and it was good we were the two of us (;-).
Give it one PF, of course... !

AURORA: an easy one, found by Dongdong.

CLAIRE ET SON COMBI A LAKEWOOD: The first spoiler picture easily spotted, but the second one quite difficult. The GPS was erratic and not very useful... took us several minutes (;-).

LA 360dg: Another easy find, and as promissed such a nice panorama !

VUE SUR BAIE: Last one, easy find. Nice small box, and wonderful view again !
TB exchange, and one PF !

Many thanks to the owners !

After our nice series at the beginning of the afternoon on the rocks dominating Antheor and Agay, our plans were to go go for a swim and a nautic cache.... but the strong waves and wind decided us to go for Agay caches instead.

I had seen the coste team set of tradis referring to StExupery, so we went there but had a little technical problem with "le chateau" :

  • Le phare d'Agay: easily found the box.. . But spent a long time searching for some number that could be a hint for le chateau... did not found anything in the box, nor on the logbook.

  • Antoine et Consuelo Suncin: nice cache, but same thing, no success looking for the chateau hint.. .

So we gave up the Chateau multi.

Finally, just as the darkness came, we went for the "US B24 Liberator", easily found the hint at Wp1, then went a little away to compute the final coordinates..
And we had a short dilemma: was it too late (and maybe risky) to go there and search the box at that time ? In the end it was indeed too late, but we found it anyway, and ended this little quest safely (;-).
A PF for the little bit of adrenaline.. . !

Thanks to the Costs team for these caches !

Last day here in Braga. The conference ended after lunch, and in the middle of the afternoon I was able to rent a bicycle, and ride around town, in search for nearby caches.... indeed all way up the the"Miradoro do Picoto".... quite steep to bike up there (;-).

On my bike tour up to the Miradoro do Picoto...
Earth cache Cebolada Granitica.
Last stop before the top. The "road work" here have made possible observation inside the granite boulders.. .. interesting!
Answers sent to the owner.

Thank you anjomaco

. Mais que viennent-ils donc faire ici ?

Last cache in Braga ?
For today for sure, meaning at least for this year, as I'm flying back to France tomorrow morning.. .
I was really surprised and pleased to find this (very pleasant) multi cache easily and in a very reasonable time.
Earlier in the afternoon, i had several DNFs on tradi caches that were not supposed to be difficult.
This one looked not that easy, especialy as i had no translation from portugues. And to make thinks a little more challenging, i decided to start it just at night fall, when it became a bit difficult to distiguish bells in the bell towers, in the shadow.
I had just enough time to count the bells at steps 1, 2 and 3 before meeting with my ftiends for dîner.
So it was only around 23:10 that i was able to resume the search.
But i quick found that these steps and formula are organised more or less in the form of some auto-correcting code (:-).

Finaly it was only 23:35 when i put my fingers on the container.

Thanks a lot to the owner for this fancy multi, and giving me a last trip around the town center before leaving.

Thanks also to Uwesi for your detailed and hope-carrying log, you gave me the needed push to start the quest. And of course thanks for your small piece of replacement logbook.

On my way I search for several other caches, but I failed on several of them. One of the reason being my total lack of understanding Portuguese, I will not log them "not found"...

So now the short list of success:

#06 Reino Fungi.
Yes at last, one cache found, after a long riding up the hill.
Nice place and nice view. The other good news is that the top is now pretty close.

+1 [em Bracara Augusta]: another nice view on the town.

Earth cache Cebolada Granitica.
Last stop before the top. The "road work" here have made possible observation inside the granite boulders.. .. interesting!

VG Picoto V2.1: several players have already reported that had not found that one. I was not able to search deeply myself, only superficial for 5 or 10 minutes, because of many niggles around. But I have seen no container.. .

Cyclovia VEG - esc basicla sta Tecla: I had some hard time for this one, so many people around, not easy to search discretely... in the end I got it, but as previous people wrote, paper is too wet to log.
I will post a Photo proof!

This will finish my bike tour, the renting shop is closing.

Thanks a lot to all the local cache owners ! ...
