Day 3 of our vacation on Cyprus. Today we decided to drive a long way from Larnaca to Mount Olympos to go for some hiking. Sadly upon arrival there was a thunderstorm clutched to the mountain, which did not pass in reasonable time. While it was still dry, we considered walking a long trail could bring us in bad weather.
So we went with an alternate plan of visiting some spots and caches along the way and nearby Mount Olympos.

A quick drive-in cache.
Cache box is missing its cover and log is wet.

After a short hike to the top we logged this cache before getting back into our car.

We walked the short trail and took a look at the different stones and plants. Afterwards we did a little research as well and hopefully found the right answers, which habe been sent to the owner.

After visiting the nearby waterfall (recommended although the fee is little high) we stopped at this bridge. Sadly we could not find the cache, although we used the hint.

Day 2 of our vacation on Cyprus.
Today we visited Nikosia and walked a total of 10km through the streets of both parts of the city and a nearby park.

Visited this small park at the end of our tour.
This multi was still shown active in my PQ, so we did it and also found the box. Thanks for guiding us around the park, and I hope the box gets new safe place.

This nice multi is highly recommended for everyone visiting the city. It brought is to quiet nice places we enjoyed very much.

Easy calculation and tricky find.
Leaving a favorite point.

Our first full day on Cyprus after arriving yesterday afternoon.
Today we decided to explore the eastern part of the island: First we went to Cape Greco to enjoy the views and log some caches, afterwards we stopped by at the nearby caves before continuing to the border to no mans land up in the north.

Last cache of the day. The viewpoint was closed, so we walked a bit to coords mentioned in earlier logs. With some peeking above bushes we think we found the correct answer hopefully. Sent to the owner.

This cache really reminda me of the inner german border, despite the fact that in Germany it was not about ethnic backgrounds.
Awarding a favorite point to this old cache!

A short park and grab while coming back from the cave chapel nearby. Nice thing!

Found the replacement cache on spot before visiting this nice cave chapel. I remember something similar from Rhodes.
