In the evening just before it got dark we reached this village, paid a short visit to the seal woman and then caught the bus to the harbour. We were already about to give up when we finally found the box - we had looked at the wrong corner first.

Short evening walk after getting back to Tórshavn. Nice place.

Today we still assumed that we might finish the "6 islands of the Faroe" challenge during this visit. Current number was three, so to keep us in the game, we wanted to add one more. We caught a bus here, did the cache, walked around a bit and caught a bus back to Tórshavn. What we didn't know was that we actually had caught the last bus... every later one was cancelled because of the storm.

Due to bad weather in the south, we had to change our plan and went north instead. It was too windy for the hiking trail, so we cancalled that and just walked out here. When we came back into the village centre, the bus was about to leave, so we decided to skip the other caches here.

A little stopover and a little walk took us to this nice village. Thanks for showing.

Took the bus from Klaksvik over here and stayed in the village for an hour. The cache was pretty fast found, but weather didn't get better...

During extremely bad weather (strong wind and heavy rain) we walked out here and logged the box...

Die Idee war so cool, den mussten wir einfach besuchen ;) Da wir noch eine Stunde Zeit hatten, bis wir uns zum Hafen aufmachen mussten, hat das auch recht gut gepasst.

We couldn't find the plate at stage 6 but thought that we could guess that one using the checksums - there are only four possible numbers anyway. However, this method brought us to some coordinates at the corner of the park where there was nothing remotely looking like a possible place to hide a cache. So something else must have been wrong but we didn't really have an idea which stage we had failed at. At least the N coordinates seemed to be correct, so we tried some more guessing and finally found a possible approximate point where a cache could be hidden conforming to the hint. Checked a few places around that point and indeed, there was a cache ;)

Looks like a nice park, however, in November in the dark it's probably not as interesting as in summer when everything blooms...
