On our last day in Blankenberge we decided to take a walk into western direction. We had no idea what to expect here - hadn't read the description in advance. So we were quite surprised. This incredible "cache box" will certainly stay one of my all-time favourites.
This looked like a fun cache to do on our visit to Brugge, and it was.
One half of the task was easier than it looked like - we knew the solution immediately since had passed and remembered the relevant object on the way there. The other half proved more difficult than expected and we resigned to guessing in the end. The most difficult part, however, was to close the lock again...
Our hike along the beach brought us here as well. Nice place and a fun sculpture.
The only downside was that the cache was actually a micro instead of a small so we couldn't drop off any trackables.
Just when we came here, a huge ship was driven into the lock. We hoped to be able to watch a full locking but after the ship was moored nothing happened for about half an hour so in the end we gave up and left.
On our stroll through Brussels we hadn't really planned out any route, so following this multi was as good as any other way. Finally found everything although the posted coordinates were often quite a bit away from what we had to find.
