Dropped in Europe's first cache!

We've never found a Geokrety before so hopefully we've logged it correctly. Will drop in another cache soon.

With LTK, out with our defibrillator to try & resuscitate some long-unfound caches in the area, plus a few others.

After a successful afternoon finding four resuscitations & three CMs, LTK suggested we stop off at the services for the two here. I soon realised that I had already found the cache on the southbound side six years ago but after LTK had signed in there, we found our way over the footbridge to look for this one.

The car park wasn't as busy on this side but there was a row of holiday coaches parked up with muggles milling around not far from GZ. Fortunately they ignored us as we walked out of view & we were able to search unimpeded. It didn't take long to work out the hiding place where I quickly spotted the unusual container. LTK completed the paperwork before everything was carefully replaced as found.

This was our fourth & final resuscitation of the afternoon & we were able to park up close to GZ where the obvious search area was soon spotted. We had read that the cache was no longer hidden as per the hint & to be honest it was difficult to see anywhere it could have been at 'chest height'. So we set about searching lower & it didn't take me very long at all to produce the cache. It was a pleasant surprise to find a waterproof logsheet safe & dry making it easy to sign in. I then replaced the cache where found & it really shouldn't be another 2½ years before this is found again!

With LTK, out with our defibrillator to try & resuscitate some long-unfound caches in the area, plus a few others.

This was our third CM to go with our four resuscitations this afternoon & after parking up in the nearby car park, we soon had the requisite information found. We managed to agree on our workings for the final coordinates & set off for the short walk to GZ.

We soon had the distance down to less than a metre, but the immediate area didn't look much like a sensible hiding place. So whilst LTK disappeared into the undergrowth, I decided to check somewhere far more likely several metres away & soon spotted the cache.

LTK emerged shortly afterwards & then found the cache for herself. The logsheet was very wet so LTK kindly signed & added a replacement before rehiding the cache upsidedown to hopefully prevent any further ingress.
