Located in the town of Woody Point overlooking beatiful Bonne Bay.Near Gros Morne National Park.
The trail to the cache begins behind the school,next to the ballpark. Take the first left after the stop sign as you enter the town. The cache is located about 500m on the town hiking trail, which is a loop of about 3kms. The trail is dry with boardwalks over the wet areas. After you find the cache have a seat and take in the view, Gros Morne Mountain, (The second highest on the island) to the North East and the Tablelands to the West. Looking over the bay you may see a whale or two. Moose like to hang out in the area as well.
You can follow your steps back to the start, or keep going on the trail which will take you back to the main road and into town.
The cache is a clear plastic jar with a green cap, with the usual stuff inside
