Sutkūnų kapinaitės pradėtos kurti žemės reformos metu apie 1925 metus. Jos yra šalia Gruzdžių plento pervažos per geležinkelį. Jose palaidojimų nedaug. Atrodo, yra buvę 7 kauburėliai. Dabar prižiūrimi du. Yra didelis naujas medinis kryžius. Kapines įkūrė Sutkūnų kaimo bendruomenė ir globojo jaunalietuvių kuopa. Kapinaitės buvo aptvertos medine tvorele, pastatyta medinė namelio formos koplytėlė su keliais Mariją vaizduojančiais paveikslais. Ilgainiui koplytėlė supuvo, niekas jos neatstatė.
Kapinaičių viduryje ant 2,20 m aukščio postamento pastatyta Jėzaus skulptūra, rodanti atvirą širdį. Postamento šonai papuošti skulptūromis ir citatomis. Tai profesionalaus skulptoriaus darbas, bet jo pavardė nežinoma. 2003 m. Vilniuje esanti UAB „Rūpintojėlis“ paminklą restauravo, kapinaites aptvėrė nauja tvora. Restauratoriai rado autorių inicialus, bet jų iššifruoti nepavyko. Dirbo meistrai: Rokas Naujalis ir Andrius Petkus. Finansavo Lietuvos Kultūros ministerija. Dabar tai vietinės reikšmės paminklas.
Sutkūnai old cemetery began to build during the land reform around 1925. It is located near the Gruzdžiai highway crossing by rail. There are few burials in them. Looks like there are 7 former bumps. Two are now supervised. There is a big new wooden cross. The cemetery was founded by the Sutkūnai village community and under the auspices of a young Lithuanian company. The cemetery was surrounded by a wooden fence, and a wooden chapel in the shape of a house was built with several paintings. Eventually the chapel rotted, no one restored it. In the center of cemetery there are sculpture of Jesus showing an open heart, is placed on a 2.20 m high pedestal. It is the work of a professional sculptor, but his surname is unknown. 2003 UAB Rūpintojėlis in Vilnius restored the monument, the cemetery was surrounded by a new fence. The restorers found the authors' initials, but could not to decipher them. Funded by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture. It is now a monument of local significance.
