Szlak Gryfitów
Dawno temu, na ziemiach otaczających Bałtyk, przez ponad pół tysiąca lat panowała dynastia Gryfitów. Ich symbol - gryf - mityczne zwierzę o ciele lwa, głowie, szponach i skrzydłach orła do dziś jest symbolem Pomorza. Szlak Gryfitów pozwoli Wam poznać miejsca związane z panowaniem tej dynastii.
Opis zabytku
Najcenniejszym zabytkiem darłowskiego muzeum jest jego siedziba – jedyny tak dobrze zachowany na polskim Wybrzeżu zamek gotycki wzniesiony przez książęcą dynastię Gryfitów.
Fundatorem zamku był książę wołogosko – słupski Bogusław V(1318 -1374). Prace budowlane rozpoczęto w 1352 r. po dokonaniu zakupu przez księcia Wyspy Młyńskiej utworzonej w narożu miasta przez rzekę i kanał zasilający młyn.
Główny, południowy budynek przeznaczony był dla księcia i jego rodziny. Pozostałe budowle usytuowane we wschodniej części zamku służyły zamieszkiwaniu zarządcy oraz służby. Po tej samej stronie w nieco późniejszym okresie zakończono budowę reprezentacyjnej sali rycerskiej z gwiaździstym sklepieniem.
W następnych latach zamek był wielokrotnie rozbudowywany i przebudowywany. Przyczynił się do tego m.in. Eryk I Pomorski, zdetronizowany król Danii, Szwecji i Norwegii. Powracając na swoją ojcowiznę unowocześnił system obronny dostawiając na zewnątrz dodatkowy mur.
Na początku XX w. dzięki staraniom Karla Rosenowa zamek zaczął odzyskiwać dawną świetność. W latach 30. XX w. powstała tu placówka kulturalna, która do dziś pełni funkcję muzealną. Ciekawostką muzealną jest stuletnie dwugłowe cielę oraz mumia kota zamurowanego jako ofiara magiczna w czasie budowy darłowskiego zamku.

Aby rozpocząć szukanie skrytki należy udać się na zamkowy dziedziniec.

Przez większość roku dostęp do niego jest darmowy, ale jeśli natraficie na strażnika i okaże się, że trzeba posiadać bilet (w okresie 15.04 - 30.09 bilet za wstęp na dziedziniec kosztuje: normalny 4 zł, a ulgowy 3 zł, cały cennik znajduje się w zdjeciach), powiedzcie mu tajne hasło: “Król Eryk od dziecka uwielbiał trebusze”. Dzięki temu będziecie mogli wejść na dziedziniec za darmo. W skrzynce znajdują się kubki dla dwóch pierwszych znalazców, trzy drewniaczki z TFT, STF i FTF, logbook, długopis, geocoiny dla wszystkich którzy odnaleźli skrzynkę, a także pieczątka (której proszę nie zabierać) i kartki z miejscem na jej odbicie. Powodzenia w szukaniu!
Koordynaty prowadzą do miejsca ukrycia skrzyni, należy uzupełnić je liczbami, które znajdują się na dziedzińcu.

B- Teraz musisz spojrzeć w górę, na białej wieży zobaczysz dwie daty i dwa napisy. Litera B odpowiada pierwszej cyfrze w dacie, która znajduje się nad słowem ERECTUM.
C- Nie spuszczaj stamtąd wzroku. Litera C jest odpowiednikiem trzeciej cyfry w dacie pod napisem RENOVATIUM.
D- Teraz udaj się do tablic, które znajdują się obok Złotego Gołębia króla Eryka. Na samym dole pod napisem “Apollo” zobaczysz gwiazdki. Ich ilość jest odpowiednikiem literki D.
Udaj się pod wskazane kordy. Na Twojej przeszkodzie stanęła kłódka? Nie martw się, ponieważ kod już prawie znasz. Będzie to ADBC. Jeżeli zamek się otworzył to znaczy, że jesteś godzien odwiedzin tajnego miejsca zabaw małego króla Eryka. Jednakże czeka Cię jeszcze jedno wyzwanie. Młody król zabezpieczył swój najcenniejszy skarb - tak aby mogli znaleźć go tylko wybrańcy. Kiedy poprosiłam go o rozwiązanie zagadki powiedział “Najpierw zrobiłem pyszny dżem i rozsmarowałem go nożykiem. Potem postanowiłem pobawić się z moją sówką na sprężynce, a na koniec podziwiałem mojego ulubionego aniołka”. Hmm... to chyba oznacza, że musisz na nowo obudzić w sobie dziecko i trochę tam pogmerać.

The Griffin T - Darłowo
A long time ago, the Griffin Dynasty ruled the land surrounding the Baltic Sea for over five hundred years. Their symbol - the griffin, a mystical creature with the body of a lion, and the head, claws and wings of an eagle has been the symbol of Pomerania ever since. The Griffin Dynasty Route will allow us to get to know the places related to the rule of the dynasty.
Description of the heritage site
The most valuable cultural heritage of the museum in Darłów is the Museum building itself - the only Gothic castle along the Polish coastline, built by the Ducal Griffin Dynasty, which has been preserved in such a good condition.
The founder of the castle was Bogislaw V, the Duke of Pomerania-Wolgast and Pomerania-Stolp (Słupsk) (1318-1374). The construction works commenced in 1352, after the Duke bought the Młyńska Island located in the corner of the town, delimited by the river and the canal supplying water to the watermill.
The main, southern building was intended for the Duke and his family. Castle administrators and servants lived in the remaining buildings located in the eastern part of the castle. At the same side, the construction of the representative knights’ hall with a stellar vault was completed in a later period.
The castle was subject to extension and reconstruction works in subsequent years. This was owing to the contribution of Eric of Pomerania, deposed from the kingdoms of Denmark, Sweden and Norway. After the return to his homeland, he modernised the defence system, by having an additional wall built outside the castle area.
The castle was regaining its former glory in early 20th century thanks to the efforts of Karl Rosenow. In 1930s a cultural institution was established here, which plays a museum function until today. A 100-year-old two-headed calf and a mummy of a cat walled in as a magical sacrifice during the construction of the castle, are some of the curiosities of the museum.

Cache description
To begin a search for the cache, we must go to the castle courtyard (opening hours are and prices of the tickets are in the photos). For most of the year, the access to the courtyard is free-of-charge, but if you come across a guard, and it turns out that you need a ticket (which, by the way, I recommend buying as it entitles you to visit the whole castle), just say the secret password: “King Eric loved trebuchets since he was a child” (“Król Eryk od dziecka uwielbiał trebusze”). Inside the cache, there are: mugs for the first two finders, three wooden coins for first-to-find (FTF), second-to-find (STF) and third-to-find (TTF) persons, a logbook, a pen, geocoins for all who managed to find the cache, a stamp (please leave it in the cache) and sheets of paper with a place to impress a stamp on. Good luck on your search!
The coordinates will direct you to the location where the cache is hidden, and it is necessary to complete them with numbers found in the courtyard area.

Go to the place marked by the coordinates. There is a padlock which prevents you from opening the cache. Don’t worry, as you nearly know the code. It's ADBC. If the padlock is opened, it means that you a worthy of visiting young King Eric's secret play area. But there is one more challenge on your way. Young king secured his most valuable treasure - so that only the chosen ones can find it. When I asked him to solve the mystery, he said “I first made delicious jam and spread it with a small knife. Then I decided to play with my little owl on a spring, and then I went on to admiring my favourite angel.” Hmm… This means that you need to awaken your inner child again, and do a bit of searching there.

Die Greifen-Route
Vor langer Zeit, in den Ländern an der Ostsee, herrschte über ein halbes Jahrtausend lang die Dynastie der Greifen. Ihr Symbol - der Greif - ein Fabeltier mit dem Körper eines Löwen, Kopf, Klauen und Flügeln eines Adlers ist bis heute das Symbol Pommerns. Die Greifenroute ermöglicht es Ihnen, die mit der Herrschaft dieser Dynastie verbundenen Orte kennen zu lernen.
Beschreibung der Sehenswürdigkeit
Das wertvollste Denkmal des Museums Darłowo ist sein Sitz - das einzige so gut erhaltene gotische Schloss an der polnischen Küste, erbaut von der herzoglichen Dynastie der Greifen.
Der Gründer des Schlosses war der Herzog von Wolgast - Słupsk Bogisław V. (1318 -1374). Die Bauarbeiten begannen 1352, nachdem der Herzog die Mühleninsel gekauft hatte, die in der Ecke der Stadt durch den Fluss und einen Kanal, der die Mühle versorgte, gebildet wurde.
Das südliche Hauptgebäude war für den Herzog und seine Familie bestimmt. Andere Gebäude, die sich im östlichen Teil des Schlosses befanden, dienten als Wohnsitz für den Verwalter und die Bediensteten. Auf der gleichen Seite wurde später ein repräsentativer Rittersaal mit einem Sterngewölbe errichtet.
In den Folgejahren wurde die Burg mehrfach erweitert und umgebaut. Einen Beitrag dazu leistete unter anderem Erich von Pommern, entthronter König von Dänemark, Schweden und Norwegen. Nach seiner Rückkehr in die Heimat modernisierte er das Abwehrsystem, indem er eine zusätzliche Mauer an der Außenseite errichtete.
Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts begann das Schloss dank der Bemühungen von Karl Rosenow, seinen früheren Glanz wiederzuerlangen. In den 1930er Jahren wurde hier eine kulturelle Einrichtung gegründet, die bis heute als Museum dient. Eine Besonderheit des Museums ist ein 100 Jahre altes zweiköpfiges Kalb und die Mumie einer Katze, die beim Bau des Schlosses Darłowo als magisches Opfer eingemauert wurde.

Um mit der Suche nach dem Cache zu beginnen, begeben Sie sich in den Schlosshof (Öffnungszeiten sind und Preise der Tickets sind auf den Fotos). Die meiste Zeit des Jahres ist der Zugang frei, aber wenn Sie auf einen Wächter treffen und es sich herausstellt, dass Sie eine Eintrittskarte benötigen (die Sie unbedingt kaufen sollten, da sie zum Besuch des gesamten Schlosses berechtigt), sagen Sie ihm das geheime Kennwort: „König Erik mochte Triböcke, seit er ein Kind war". B- Jetzt müssen Sie nach oben schauen, am weißen Turm sehen Sie zwei Jahreszahlen und zwei Inschriften. Der Buchstabe B entspricht der ersten Ziffer im Datum, das über dem Wort ERECTUM steht.
C- Schauen Sie nicht weg. Der Buchstabe C entspricht der dritten Ziffer im Datum unter dem Wort RENOVATIUM.
D- Gehen Sie nun zu den Tafeln, die sich neben König Erichs Goldener Taube befinden. Ganz unten unter dem Wort "Apollo" sehen Sie Sterne. Ihre Zahl entspricht dem Buchstaben D.
Gehen Sie zu den angegebenen Codes. Steht Ihnen ein Schloss im Weg? Machen Sie sich keine Sorgen, denn Sie kennen den Code fast. Es wird ADBC sein. Wenn sich das Schloss geöffnet hat, bedeutet es, dass Sie würdig sind, den geheimen Spielort des kleinen Königs Erich zu besuchen. Es wartet jedoch noch eine weitere Herausforderung auf Sie. Der junge König hat seinen wertvollsten Schatz abgesichert - damit ihn nur wenige Auserwählte finden können. Als ich ihn bat, das Rätsel zu lösen, sagte er: "Zuerst habe ich leckere Konfitüre gemacht und sie mit einem Messer verteilt. Dann beschloss ich, mit meiner Eule an einer Feder zu spielen, und schließlich bewunderte ich meinen Lieblingsengel." Hmm... Ich schätze, das bedeutet, dass Sie das Kind in sich wieder erwecken und dort ein bisschen herumwühlen müssen.
