This cache was placed just outside the Headquarters of the 1st Sliema Scout Group in the centre of the city, which is the oldest scout group in the world outside the United Kingdom. There was a smaller cache here but after it went missing I thought it was time for an upgrade! Please reset everything as found! The box has a waterproof container inside for the logbook, as well as a lot of not so waterproof space for things like trackables and tradeable! I also placed a Ready To Go Small Cache inside the box so somebody can place their first cache too! If you see any scouts around (people using the HQ building) don't worry, they know about the cache, and they are all down for a friendly chat, chances are you'll bump into me on Wednesdays and Fridays between 19:30 - 21:00! The Sliema Scout Group is made up of four main Sections and is run by the Group Scout Leader with the assistance of the Assistant Group Scout Leaders. Each Section has its own Section Leader and Assistant Section Leaders. If you're interested in joining check out Sliema Scouts online. I have been a scout since I was old enough to join and have always loved it and learned some amazing skills. This cache is a tribute to my time as a scout. The cache is a large wooden container but you will need to untie a REEF KNOT 🪢 to open it, and make sure to replace it in the same way!
