Gdynia – przepiękne miasto z morza i marzeń… Gdy znajdziesz się w pobliżu podanych współrzędnych, będziesz się w samym sercu Gdyni. To ulubione miejsce spacerów mieszkańców miasta oraz turystów.
Fontanna, znajdująca się na granicy Skweru Kościuszki i Mola Południowego, to jeden z najpopularniejszych i najbardziej rozpoznawalnych obiektów w mieście; stanowi wizytówkę „Miasta z Morza”.
Została ona zbudowana w 1938 r. Przetrwała całą wojnę, aż do wiosny 1945 r., gdy zniszczyli ją wycofujący się z Gdyni Niemcy. Po wojnie fontanna została odbudowana. Jej obecny kształt powstał w 1974 roku.
Zza fontanny wyłaniają się maszty żaglowców: Daru Pomorza, Daru Młodzieży oraz okręt – muzeum ORP Błyskawica, w tle zaś widoczny jest modernistyczny budynek Akwarium Gdyńskiego oraz pomnik pisarza marynisty Józefa Conrada - Korzeniowskiego. Na końcu Mola Południowego często cumują wielkie, nowoczesne statki - wycieczkowce.
W sąsiedztwie Mola Południowego znajduje się gdyńska Marina, ma ono również spacerowe połączenia z Bulwarem Nadmorskim.
W pobliżu współrzędnych znajduje się obelisk upamiętniający miejsce, w którym usytuowany był ołtarz papieski podczas mszy świętej, którą w 1987 r. odprawił tu Jan Paweł II.
ZADANIE:
Obejdź dookoła fontannę. Zwróć uwagę, że jej kielichy umieszczone są wzdłuż kilku krzyżujących się linii prostych.
Znajdź linię, na której stoi największa liczba kielichów fontanny. Zrób zdjęcie fontanny stojąc dokładnie na tej linii. Zdjęcie powinno pokazywać Ciebie, lub choćby Twoją rękę wskazującą kierunek linii z największą liczbą kielichów.
Aby zalogować skrytkę, dołącz to zdjęcie do wpisu.
Logi nie zawierające takiego zdjęcia będą kasowane.

Gdynia - a beautiful city of the sea and dreams… When you reach the coordinates you will find yourself in the heart of Gdynia. It's a favourite place to walk for city inhabitants and for tourists.
The fountain, located on the border of Skwer Kościuszki and Molo Południowe (South Pier), is one of one of the most popular and most recognizable objects in the city. It is a symbol of “City from the Sea”.
It was built in 1938. It survived the entire war until the spring of 1945, when it was destroyed. After the war the fountain was rebuilt. Its present shape was created in 1974.
There are masts of the ships: Dar Pomorza, Dar Młodzieży, ORP Błyskawica, visible behind the fountain. There are modernist building of the Gdynia Aquarium and the monument of the seafarer Józef Conrad – Korzeniowski also visible there. Large, modern cruiser ships moor at the end of Molo Południowe (South Pier).
Close to Molo Południowe (South Pier), there is Gdynia Marina. There are also good walk connections from here to the seaside promenade.
You can notice an obelisk commemorating the place where the papal altar was located during the Mass celebrated in 1987 by John Paul II near the coordinates.
THE TASK:
Walk around the fountain. Note that its bowls (cups) are placed along several straight lines.
Find the line where the largest number of fountain cups stand. Take a fountain picture, standing exactly on this line.The picture should show you standing on the line, or your hand showing the direction of the line with the most number of cups.
When logging the cache, please attach that photo to your log.
