This cache takes you to a popular spot at the head of the Pitlochry Dam. Here you can learn all about how it was built, how it produces electricity and its impact on the environment. PLEASE CHECK OPENING TIMES AND COVID REGULATIONS BEFORE DOING THIS CACHE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT

Whether you are interested in history, construction, hydro electricity or watching the salmon jumping the fish ladder this dam has an interest for all. Great views from the walk over the dam.
As this is a popular tourist spot it would be best not to risk leaving a TB here. There is a comfortable bench here to sit and sign the log and free Wifi to write your online logs.
