Jatki wrocławskie – magiczne miejsce w centrum Wrocławia.
Jest to jedno z najczęściej odwiedzanych miejsc przez turystów oraz częsty cel spacerów Wrocławian. Ulica ta jest usytuowana wśród rynkowych alejek, a z wyglądu i klimatu przypomina piękną Toskanię. Przechadzając się pod zadaszonymi, urokliwymi kamieniczkami można poczuć ducha renesansowych czasów.
W średniowieczu handlowano tutaj mięsem – początkowo były tutaj 2 rzędy sklepów rzeźniczych, ale wraz z biegem czasu kamienice zaczęły pełnić funkcje domów mieszkalnych oraz galerii sztuki. W XIX wieku część lokali zaadaptowano na sklepy. W trakcie wojny (oblężenia Wrocławia) Jatki znalazły się w polu rażenia artyleryjskiego i zostało wtedy zniszczone 12 z 24 domków. Na szczęście udało się je odbudować w latach 1965-1968.
Niedawno miasto zainwestowało sporą kwotę w odnowienie tej uliczki, co pozwoliło na to, by wyglądała ona tak jak w swoich najlepszych czasach. Obecnie mieszczą się tutaj galerie oraz pracownie artystyczne.
Kilka ciekawostek:
- Słowo jatka miało oznaczać ruchomą budkę – kram
- W 1978 roku odłsoniętu tablicę “Ku Czci Prostych Działań” z równaniem 1+1 = 2. Akt odsłonięcia powtarzany jest co roku 21 grudnia o godzinie 14:00 I trwa 7 minut
- W 1997 roku odsłonięto tutaj pomnik “Ku Czci Zwierząt Rzeźnych”
- Na Jatkach można znaleźć krasnala – Rzeźnika
- W średniowieczu funkcję chłodzenia pełniły drewniane podcienie w kramach rzeźnych

Kesz nie znajduje się na koordach. Jest to szybkie multi, które zaczyna się przy pomniku Ku Czci Zwierząt Rzeźnych na Jatkach.
Aby odnaleźć kesza należy zrobić 2 rzeczy:
- Policz wszystkie zwierzęta z pomnika. Ich liczba to A.
- Odnajdź krasnala rzeźnika. B to numer kramu, który znajduje się naprzeciwko.
Współrzędne skrytki wyliczysz podstawiając do wzoru:
N 51 06.XXX, gdzie XXX = 690 + (10 * A)
E 17 01.YYY, gdzie YYY = 700 + (10 * B)
Skrytka znajduje się na wyliczonych koordach i jest dostępna od strony chodnika/drogi, nie należy wchodzić na teren parkingu.
Zawiera logbook, ołówek i certyfikaty dla znalazców. Proszę o bardzo ostrożne podejmowanie i wpisywanie się w pewnej odległości.

The Butcheries of Wrocław – a magical place in the centre of Wrocław.
It’s one of the most visited places by tourists and a destination of many walks of Wrocław citizens.
The street is situated among the beautiful avenues in the same city centre. The look and the atmosphere of this place is very similar to Tuscany. While you stroll under the roofs and next to amazing town houses you can feel the spirit of Renaissance.
In Medieval times people used to sell meat here – at the beginning there were two rows of butcheries in the street. But after some time the houses were adopted as living places or art galleries. In XIX century some of the locals were transformed into shops. During WW II (the Siege of Wrocław) the Butcheries were in the firing line and 12 of 24 houses were destroyed. Fortunately in 1965-1968 they were rebuilt.
Some time ago the town council decided to renovate the street and now the street looks as in its best times. Nowadays you can find art galleries here and workshops.
Interesting facts:
- The word Jatka (butchery in polish) was to mean “a stall”
- In 1978 a plate was exposed with an equation 1+1 = 2. The act of exposure is repeated every year on the 21st of December at 14:00 and it lasts 7 minutes
- In 1997 an interesting sculpture was exposed – To the Animals for Slaughter
- You can find a dwarf here – the butcher

The cache isn't located on coordiantes. It's a quick multi cache that starts next to sculpture (To the Animals for Slaughter).
In order to get the coordinates you need to:
- Count all the animals from the sculpture. The number of them is A.
- Find the butcher dwarf. B is the number of the stall that is located opposite to the dwarf.
You'll get the coordinates by doing the simple math:
N 51 06.XXX, where XXX = 690 + (10 * A)
E 17 01.YYY, where YYY = 700 + (10 * B)
The cache is hidden at the solved coordinates and it is available from the side of the pavement/road and you shouldn't enter the nearby car park.
It cointains a logbook, a pencil and certificates for the finders. Please watch out for muggles and don't log into the cache in the place you find it.
