Informace o Jánském vrchu: Jánský vrch je velmi zajímavá a magická vyhlídková hora v těsném sousedství s národní přírodní rezervací Jezerkou. Společně s Jedlovou a Jezerkou vytváří nápadnou krajinnou dominantu Mostecka a Chomutovska. Jánský vrch (dříve nazývaný Johannesfeuerberg) dostal své jméno podle pohanského zvyku zapalování ohňů na sv. Jána při tzv. Svatojánské noci (magická noc, kdy se otevírají poklady země). Takto zapálené svatojánské ohně byly vidět daleko do kraje, proto se kopci také říkávalo Svatojánská hora nebo lidověji Ohnivec. Vrcholová část je poměrně plochá a tvoří ji jen mírně ukloněná plošina (nachází se cca 350 m východně od tohoto místa). Leží v nadmořské výšce 739 m n. m. Nejvyšší místo vrchu je však zde - asi desetimetrové skalisko s osamělou borovicí. Odtud se naskýtá krásný výhled po okolí. Kromě této skály se na svazích nacházejí další větší či menší skalní útvary. Uvádí se hypotéza, že právě tuto horu a její vrcholovou plošinu si vybrali v minulosti již Keltové pro své oppidum a obětiště, a právě oni objevili zvláštní magii této hory. Information about Jansky hill: Jansky hill is very interesting and magical mountain in the vicinity of national nature reserve Jezerka. Together with Jedlova and Jezerka create a striking landscape dominant of Most and Chomutov. Jansky hill (formerly called Johannesfeuerberg) got its name from the pagan tradition of ignition of fires on St. John during the St. John night (magical night when the treasures open). These fires were lighted to see far into the region, so the hill was called Svatojánská mountain or Ohnivec. The top of mountain is relatively flat and consists of a slightly sloping plateau (it is situated 350 m eastern from this place). It lies at an altitude of 739 m above sea level. The highest point of the hill is here - about ten-meter rock with a lonely pine. From here you can get a nice view of the surroundings. There are also other rock formations. It is hypothesized that this particular mountain has been chosen in the past by Celts for their oppidum and place of sacrifice, and that they have discovered the magic of this special mountain. Informationen – Der Berg Jánský: Der Berg Jánský ist ein interessanter und magischer Aussichtsberg in der knappen Nachbarschaft mit dem Naturschutzgebiet Jezerka. Der Berg Jánský bildet zusammen mit den Naturschutzgebieten Jedlová und Jezerka eine auffallende Landschaftsdominante des Gebietes rund um der Städte Most und Chomutov. Der Berg Jánský (früher Johannesfeuerberg genannt) bekam sein Name nach dem Heidebrauch der Feuerzündung bei der Walpurgisnacht (eine magische Nacht, wann die Schätze der Erde geöffnet werden). Diese Johannesfeuer wurden weit in der Landschaft gesehen, darum wurde der Berg Johannisfeuerberg oder volkstümlich Phönix genannt. Der Gipfelteil des Berges ist verhältnismäßig flach und bildet eine gelinde geneigte Plattform (Es ist etwa 350 m östlich von diesem Ort entfernt). Die Seehöhe des Berges ist 739 Meter. Der höchste Ort des Berges ist hier – ungefähr 10 Meter hoch Felsenblock mit einer einsame Kiefer. Von hier gibt es eine schöne Aussicht in die Ungebung. Außerdem des Felsenblocks befinden sich hier auch andere größere und kleinere Felsenformationen. Es führt eine Hyphotese an, dass gerade diesen Berg und seine Gipfelplatform wählten sich schon in Vergangenheit die Kelten für ihre Oppidium und Opferplatz.
