Porion - warszawska telewizja, nadająca najpierw przez długi czas z Żoliborza. Później miała krótko swoje studio w centrum handlowym „Land” na Służewiu.
Studio Ursynat - Telewizja osiedlowa
Początki „Ursynatu” to było zaledwie kilka programów „na żywo”, podczas których gasło światło, wysiadał dźwięk i wszyscy popełniali różne gafy. Przełom nastąpił wtedy, gdy studio „Ursynat” odrodziło się pod skrzydłami „Porionu”.
Oprócz programu telewizji satelitarnej miał być nadawany drobny program lokalny. Redaktor Andrzej Ibis-Wróblewski zaproponował, żeby nazwać go "Ursynatem". Nazwa ta wywodziła się od wyrazów „Ursynów” i „satelita”. Zadanie było bardzo trudne, bo nie było wtedy sprzętu technicznego umożliwiającego rozsiew telewizji kablowej. Nie było odpowiednich wzmacniaczy i nadajników do sieci. Zrobili to metodą chałupniczą. Wyemitowali 4 programy adresowane do mieszkańców trzech sąsiednich bloków.
Udokumentowali między innymi otwarcie metra i jechali pierwszym uruchomionym wagonikiem, wpadali do szkół, przeprowadzali rozmowy z ciekawymi ludźmi, pokazywali liderów oraz działalność Ursynowsko-Natolińskiego Towarzystwa Społeczno-Kulturalnego i Ursynowsko-Natolińskiego Towarzystwa Sportowego, a przed wyborami samorządowymi prezentowali też kandydatów na radnych (w tym punkcie nie mieli niestety pełnej swobody).

Studio Ursynat - neighborhood television
During the beginning of the "Ursynat" there were only a few programs "live", during which light faded, the sound got off and everybody committed various gaffes. The breakthrough came when the "Ursynat" studio revived under the wings of "Porion".
Apart from the satellite program, there were also plans for creating a small local program. Editor Andrzej Ibis-Wróblewski suggested to name it “Ursynat”. This name was derived from the Polish words “Ursynów” and “satelita” (satellite). The task was very difficult, because at that times there was no technical equipment enabling to spread the cable television. There were no suitable power amplifiers and transmitters to the network. They did it as we call it in Polish “by cottage method”. They emitted 4 aired programs addressed to residents of three neighboring blocks.
Among others the television documented the opening of the Polish underground and rode the first running carriage, they fall into schools, they conducted interviews with interesting people, they showed the leaders and the activities Ursynowsko-Natoliński Socio-Cultural Society and Ursynowsko-Natoliński Sports Association, and before the local elections they presented also candidates for councilors (at this point, unfortunately, they did not have full freedom).
