Situated in the beautiful indigenous forest of Knysna, this cache is hidden along "Kom se Pad"
The cache is found at Grootdraai which directly translates from Afrikaans into "Big turn/corner". This spot is part of the South African National Parks, and a self issued permit is signed at the spot itself. It is an awesome spot for picnicking, there are a couple tables and even a braai facility as well as restsooms and fresh water in the forest. Also starting from here are walking trails through the forset, well worth the walk. Come here and enjoy the afternoon.
The road can be accessed from Knysna, via Simola, taking the "Gouna" turnoff. You can also drive along the R339 and take the "Kom-se-Pad" turn off just after "Diepwalle".
