„Clock tower on the ground worker”
From the Center of Zalaegerszeg in southeast, can be found a real speciality the „Clock tower on the ground worker” in front of the Hevesi Sándor theather which was built in 1982. The nearly 200 years old clockwork is unique in Europe because can be seen in action inside a glass house. The machine designed by Károly Szerdahelyi arhitect. It is inside a 3 meters and 10 cenimeters glass cage, while the weight and the balance descend – clearly visible- into a 3 meters deep pit under the ground.
The cache is small, can not be possible to put a gift. It has a small pencill but can be lost.

„Földön járó toronyóra”
Zalaegerszeg központi részétől délkeletre, az 1982-ben alapított Hevesi Sándor Színház előtti téren egy igazi különlegesség, a „Földön járó toronyóra” található. A közel 200 éves óraszerkezet Európában egyedülálló módon, üvegházon belül, működés közben látható. A gépezet Szerdahelyi Károly építész tervei alapján egy 3 méter 10 centiméter széles üvegkalitkába került, míg a súlyok és ellensúlyok - jól láthatóan - egy három méter mély aknába ereszkednek a földfelszín alá.
A dobozba méreténél fogva ajándékot tenni nem lehet. Van egy apró ceruza benne a logoláshoz, de könnyen elveszhet.
