Geocache Description:

Wouldn't you rather be caching on Cup Day than stuck inside watching a horse race? Now you have an excuse! We thought Cup Day would be a great time to have a get together with other cachers ..... oh and maybe it's close to someone's significant birthday???!!!

EVERYONE is welcome, it doesn't matter if you know the Golden Nascency Anniversary Member or not, an event is a great way for new cachers to meet the "ol' timers" ;-) When you log your attendance could you please say how many people in your team so we can cater for cake!! :-)

We'll have a few fun games with cool prizes provided by Carl from Geostuff (Thanks Carl!) There's play equipment for the kids and toilets and a sheltered area if necessary. There'll be a log book, a Cup Sweep with a difference, stickers for your names, a table for TB's and GC's and PT's and whatever else we think of on the day!

BYO afternoon tea and chairs or picnic blankets. Oh and we better have a round thing with LOTS of candles on it!!! Lol!

There are 4 caches hidden around the lake grounds if you haven't already found them.... you'll need to do the first step of a couple of multi's and solve a puzzle (email us if you want a hint on Hooked On Books 2 - Anne of Green Gables!!)

Time: 2pm until the last person heads off to find some caches but you'll wanna hang around until after the race (3pm) ;-)

CAKE AND PRIZES AROUND 4pm.....ish
