Liczacy ponad dwa hektary park Wroclawskiego Teatru Lalek powstal po przebudowie Parku Staromiejskiego (Parku Kopernika, a wczesniej Parku Hanki Sawickiej). Jest to niewatpliwie najbezpieczniejsze i najbardziej komfortowe miejsce zabaw wroclawskich dzieci – prawdziwa enklawa dla najmlodszych - a zarazem wazny punkt na kulturalnej mapie Wroclawia. Park przypomina przedwojenny miejski ogród – z wysokim, pieknie kutym ogrodzeniem, starannie utrzymanymi trawnikami i urokliwymi alejkami w odtworzonym XIX-przedwojennym ukladzie. Inspiracja dla projektantów byly kopenhaskie XIX-wieczne Ogrody Tivoli. Teatr odbudowal równiez slynna dziewietnastowieczna parkowa fontanne.
Centralnym punktem ogrodu jest plac zabaw dla dzieci, wylozony specjalna miekka guma, stylizowana na dziewietnastowieczna przepiekna francuska karuzela z wizerunkami wroclawskich zabytkóworaz zabawki w klimacie retro. W parku stanela równiez woliera, w której zamieszkaja niezwykle ptaki z Miejskiego Ogrodu Zoologicznego we Wroclawiu – wylacznie odporne na niskie temperatury egzotyczne gatunki, jak np. bazant zloty.

About this location:
Park of Wroclaw Puppet Theatre was created after reconstruction of the Oldtown Park (Copernicus Park and Hanka Sawicka Park earlier),with more than two acres. This is undoubtedly the safest and most comfortable place in Wroclaw for children's playground - a true enclave for the youngest - and also an important point on the cultural map of Wroclaw. Park recalls pre-war urban garden - with a high, beautifully wrought fence, neatly manicured lawns and quaint alleys in the reconstituted oryginal shape. Designers were inspired by nineteenth-century Copenhagen Tivoli Gardens. The famous nineteenth century park fountain was also rebuilt.
The focal point of the garden is a playground for children, lined with a special soft rubber and beautiful French-retro-styled nineteenth-century carousel with images of Wroclaw monuments. In the park an aviary was placed, which is inhabited by unusual birds from Municipal Zoological Garden in Wroclaw - only exotic species resistant to low temperatures such as golden pheasant.
All-day security, monitoring and a high fence with a gate closed for the night to protect against damage make the lawns do not become a toilet for dogs. During the day, of course, every guest can enter the garden without any charge.
Oldtown Garden is also a place for different cultural events: concerts, exhibitions and film screenings.
There is a restaurant by the theatre.

NOTE: Carousel does not operate and it is covered with tarpaulin in winter season from November to April, but it is still possible to find the cache even without this missing piece of information.

Der Park des Breslauer Puppentheaters wurde durch Rekonstruktion des Altstadtparks (früher Kopernikuspark und Hanka Sawicka Park) mit einer Fläche von mehr als zwei Hektar geschaffen. Dies ist ohne Zweifel der sicherste und komfortabelste Kinderspielplatz in Breslau – eine wahre Insel für die Jüngsten – und auch ein wichtiger Punkt auf der kulturellen Landkarte Breslaus. Der Park gedenkt dem städtischen Garten vor dem Krieg – mit einem hohen wunderschön geschmiedeten Zaun, säuberlich gepflegtem Rasen und idyllischen Alleen in der wiederhergestellten originalen Form. Die Landschaftsarchitekten waren durch den Kopenhagener Tivoli-Park des neunzehnten Jahrhunderts inspiriert. Auch der berühmte Brunnen aus dem 19. Jahrhundert wurde wieder aufgebaut.
Im Blickpunkt des Parks steht der Kinderspielplatz, mit speziellem weichem Gummi ausgelegt, einem Karussell in französischem Retro-Stil mit Bildern von Breslauer Wahrzeichen. Im Park gibt es noch einen Vogelkäfig, der von ungewöhnlichen Vögeln des Städtischen Zoologischen Gartens bewohnt wird – nur kälteresistenten exotischen Arten wie dem Goldfasan. Bewachung über den Tag und ein hoher Zaun mit einem in der Nacht geschlossenen Tor schützen vor Beschädigungen und den Rasen davor, zur Hundetoilette zu werden. Tagsüber kann natürlich jeder Gast den Park kostenlos betreten.
Der Altstadtpark ist auch ein Ort für verschiedene kulturelle Ereignisse: Konzerte, Ausstellungen und Filmvorführungen. Beim Theater gibt es ein Restaurant.
BEACHTE: Der Altstadtpark ist zwischen 09:00 und 21:00 geöffnet.
ACHTUNG: das Karussell ist zwischen November und April außer Betrieb und mit einer Plane abgedeckt, aber es ist trotz der dadurch fehlenden Information möglich, den Cache zu finden.
