Kamnit stopnicast most nad ozkim kanjonom Nadize, zgrajen okoli leta 1812, kaze na pomembno prehodnost obmocja vse od rimskih casov dalje.
Cez most je potekala starodavna pot iz Pradola in Robidisca naprej po Nadizi. Po ustnem izrocilu naj bi ga zgradil zidarski mojster iz vasi Cenebola v zahodni Slovenski Beneciji. Ker je gradnja mostu potekala v casu osvajalskih pohodov francoskega cesarja, nosi njegovo ime. Zaradi redkosti in izjemne gradnje je nepogresljiv arhitekturni spomenik in vez s preteklostjo.
Z mostu je lep razgled na zelenkasto reko Nadizo s stevilnimi prodisci in tolmuni, v katerih se lahko prijetno ohladite v poletnih mesecih.
Od tu se lahko pes podate tudi do sosednjega zaklada v dolino Pradol (GC2X5XK).

The stone bridge crossing the Nadiza gorge dates to around 1812 and stands mute testament to the routes crossing the area since at least the time of Ancient Rome.
The bridge used to form part of the ancient route from Pradol and Robidisce along the Nadiza river. According to folk memory the current bridge was constructed by a builder from the village of Cenebola in western Beneska Slovenija. It was built at the time of the French emperor’s conquests, hence its name. Its uniqueness and technical accomplishment make it a precious architectural monument and a memorial to times past.
From the bridge one can enjoy a beautiful view over the green river Nadiza with numerous gravel pits and pools which are ideal for quick bath during hot summer days.
At the bridge begins also the foot path to valley Pradol, which leads you to neighbouring cache (GC2X5XK).
