Geocache Description:

A small cache in Ramon Crater.

Ramon Crater is a unique geological feature in the Negev. The crater is about 40km long, up to 10km wide, and it is 500m deep in its deepest point. It was formed along the years, after the ocean receded and revealed a spectacular diversity of rocks.

One of the strange phenomena in the crater is the Minsara, or Prism, aka The Carpentry Shop. This is a hill made of black prismatic rocks, which were formed when heated sand cooled naturally into rectangular and hexagonal prisms.

A small cache was hidden just next to the trail that goes up the hill. Please rehide well.
