Located in the Big Hole Museum in Kimberly
This Cache is located in the Big Hole museum. The museum has a
very
well done recreated old village which is free to enter and then the
Big Hole
museum itself. An entrance fee is payable and this has a
platform
over the Big Hole -which is the largest man made excavation in
the
world, a diamond display, an underground experience, a very
good
geological explanation of the area and how diamonds are formed
and
a short film showing the history of Kimberly. Onecan pay for the
whole experience a smaller fee just to look over the whole, which
should alow access to the cache, although experience of this seems
mixed.
We pass through a number of times a year but any help with
essential repairs would be appreciated.
