Geocache Description:

As part of Stirling City Council's Bushland Revegetation Projects, all remnant bushland in Richard Guelfi Reserve and Balcatta Reserve, including the area where this cache was originally hidden, is surrounded by 1.5 metre high fences.
Please do not climb those fences.
The cache is accessible without crossing any fence.

Richard Guelfi Reserve is the heart of sporting facilities in Balcatta, home to a number of sporting groups and other organisations.

Update 9 April 2021
Should be an easy find at the edge of a fenced patch of remnant bushland near the Northern edge of the Reserve.

Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!!!

The best approach to the cache is to park at or near Battery World on Balcatta Road. You can then cross the road and approach GZ - that should have you at the edge of the middle patch of fenced remnant bushland, one fence post left of a braced wooden fence post.

The cache is attached to a retrieval stick, which protrudes below the bottom wire on the left side of that post. The container itself is hidden about 1 metre inside the fence-line, concealed by growing vegetation. Please take care when retrieving it so as not to dislodge the cache from the stick,

AND TRY NOT TO BREAK THE STICK!!!
.

The cache is STILL (as at 2 Dec 22) a drab camouflaged 65mm Diam x 165mm high round screw-top container, with log book, Finders Cards, pen, two pencils, sharpener, and a few swaps. Please be sure to seal the zip-lock bag and screw the lid on tight, and return it carefully below the concealing vegetation.

This cache is part of a series leading towards my GC1RN04 WanAus 103 - Bonus Box cache. There is a BB number in the back of the log book. You will need to record this number in the format 97? (from WanAus 97 and ? for the BB number) for future reference.

This is just a suggestion, but it may help you to keep track of the BB numbers.
Every cache page has "*Personal Cache Note" *Click to enter a note, just above Geocache Description:
You could either add the code to each individual cache,
or add all numbers to GC1RN04 WanAus 103 - Bonus Box.

When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find, and please don't take the pen, pencils or sharpener. If you can't trade up or trade even I don't mind seeing TNLNSL in the log. Also please don't put the pen or pencils in the log book bag, it tends to destroy the watertight integrity.

Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free to take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in the logbook and your online log, and do log them online.
