Geocache Description:

Ta cache vas popelje na sprehod cez grice na severnem robu mesta Maribor. This cache takes you on a hike over the hills on the northern edge of the city Maribor.

Glavna vstopna tocka je na južnem pobocju Piramide. Od tu poteka trasa poti proti vrhu Piramide. Pot se nadaljuje po grebenu Piramide in se spusti proti cetrtemu ribniku v Mestnem parku. Nato se povzpne na Mestni vrh, od koder se spusti v dolino potoka pod Kalvarijo, ga precka pri parkirišcu gostišca Brigadir in zavije proti zahodu, na Kalvarijo.
Pot zacnite na glavni vstopni tocki (N46 34,058, E15 38,950), kjer najdete prvo informativno tablo. Nato zavijete desno v hrib po oznaceni poti. Da boste našli škatlo, morate na tablah v angleškem besedilu poiskati manjkajoce besede (xxx). Zaporedje iskanega besedila je nakljucno. Iz iskane besede vzemite zahtevano crko (SLMW) in jo pretvorite v številko (angleška abeceda).
Celotna pot je dolga ca. 5 km. Za njo boste skupaj z iskanjem porabili ca. 2 do 3 ure. Priporocljiva je dobra obutev, saj je lahko pot ponekod mokra in blatna.

In the north, Maribor is surrounded by three viniferous hills: Piramida, Mestni vrh and Kalvarija. Natural history educational trail is leading over them. Fifteen information boards describe the natural characteristics of the area, with summary on English and German language.
Main starting point is located on southern slope of Piramida. From there, the trail leads to the top and over the ridge of Piramida. Then it descends past the Fouth pond to the City Park. After that, the trail ascends again over Mestni vrh and descends into the valley of the stream under Kalvarija, crosses it and turns westward onto Kalvarija.
Start at the main starting point (N46 34,058, E15 38,950), where the first information board is located. Then turn right and continue uphill. To find the cache, you have to find the missing words (marked xxx) in the English descriptions. The texts in the table are in random order! Take the letter of the missing word, designated by SLMW, and turn it into number using English alphabet.

The trail is approx. 5 km long and it will take you 2 to 3 hours. Some sections can be wet and muddy so good footwear is recommended.
