Situat al Pla d'Olot, té una base circular de 800m de diàmetre, amb
una alçada relativa del con de 116m. Se li atribueix una colada de
lava que va arribar fins a Sant Joan les Fonts i que s'ha datat en
133.000 anys. Aquesta, va provocar el barratge de la riera de
Bianya com a conseqüència de l'acumulació de sediments aigües
amunt.
Dels tres cràters que té el volcà de la Garrinada, el superior
s'anomena de la Mosquera i té un diàmetre de 150m; el de la
Garrinada és el central, té 300m de diàmetre i presenta, a tot
volt, un disc basàltic; l'inferior, cràter del Bufador, té un
diàmetre de 423m i la seva base està a 5m per sota el nivell del
pla d'Olot.

desxifrar les coordenades finals del cache misteriòs: Volcans de la
